I just wanted to thank you for helping me to pack up the cigarettes.
I first started smoking when I was thirteen and moved on to smoking between 15 to 20 on average a day from the age of about 16 onwards. I had never attempted to stop smoking for several reasons - I had done it for years, I thought it would be difficult to stop and quite frankly enjoyed it! Over the last year my outlook on my future has changed, to the point that it would be nice for smoking not to be a part of it. When the company offered me the opportunity to try hypnosis, at no cost, I thought I had nothing to lose! I was a little sceptical to start off with, I thought that I would not be able to be hypnotised and I wasn't entirely sure how much I wanted to stop smoking.
I told myself that Friday 15th June would be my last day as a smoker, I had the hypnosis and haven't looked back since. I expected to have cravings, I expected to get grouchy, I expected to turn to food instead of cigarettes and I half expected to want to walk out of the room find the nearest shop buy a pack of 20 and light up as I had done for so many years...but I was wrong. I am really glad I put my scepticism aside, embraced the hypnosis and found it so painless to stop smoking.
